Wanna Bet on That?
I have always been a supernatural junkie and this is evident in all aspects of my life be it my pick of literature, choice of travel locales, choice of hobbies, and even where I live. It should therefore be no great surprise that my daughter has adopted my same literary tastes. So we were cuddled up in bed each of us reading our own laptops but both on this site...I had just re-read one I thought was scary but my daughter said she read one that was better...so I read it for her but I made a smart-alec remark about how her grandmother, my mother, would never come back through something high tech like the laptops but would through the TV...but then I laughed and said if she was gonna come back at all she would have done it already. At that exact moment, my brand new laptop let out this high shrill alarm and flashed that my power supply was critically compromised...my daughter's, which she got for Christmas did the exact same thing...but to top it off, the television changed channels...to my Mama's favorite show...appropriate for the occasion I think...MacGyver! My mom always had a fantastic sense of humor and I had been really missing her a lot and thinking of her all the time. I think she chose to come to me in a moment of mirth to just let me know she is still watching out for me and my daughter.
