Vanishing Voices
One night around 4 -4:30 a.m., my cat and I were on the internet checking out my MySpace mail. Then, I heard sounds like people talking. I was the only one awake at the time, and the lights were out, so I couldn’t see if any of my brothers was awake. At first, I thought it was the TV or a radio, but the only radio I can think of was up in my room. I was listening to the sounds, and they seemed to have been coming from the corner of the room by the door to the outside. After about five minutes, I started to get up to see what was making the noise. As soon as I was about to get up, the sounds vanished! I don’t think my house is haunted, but I believe that some ghosts will pass through my house from time to time.
Another time, after the passing of my cat, I walked past the door to the upstairs one night, and I saw my cat sitting on the steps watching me, as I walked past the door. I was not scared, when I saw this golden figure, because I knew immediately that it was my dead cat still watching over me.
