Ghost Stories

Unknown Assailant

Personal Experience by JT

I was about fourteen years old at the time. It was late at night, and I am sure that I was in a deep sleep. I remember just waking up and staring straight up at the ceiling. I came to realize that what I was looking at appeared to be a man staring right back at me! He was real tall and thin. I felt the blood leave my face, when I saw him, because he was not really a ‘he’, not anymore, at least. I could see right through him. Transparent. I took a good, long look. I saw what he was wearing. A nice 1930’s-style pinstriped suit and a fedora. About a minute or two later, he just disappeared. I felt myself breathing hard, and my heart wanted to beat right out of my chest! I was paralyzed with fear. Another minute rolls by, and suddenly, I have, what felt like, two hands just placed on my chest. I freaked out. I could not take it. I had to get out of my room, but I could not. I was so paralyzed; none of my limbs were working. The hands just started pushing down and applied more pressure onto my chest. By this time, I was trying to scream and yell for my mother, but I could not do that either. It sounded like I had just caught a case of laryngitis at that exact moment. All I can scream out were useless little whispers. A few seconds of that and all of a sudden, POOF!, the pressure stopped, and the hands came off me. I was able to move and talk again. I jumped out of bed and ran into my parent’s bedroom. I told them the whole story. They shook it off as a bad dream. Believe me, that was NO dream.
