Ghost Stories

When I was about 4 years old, I remember crying in my bedroom, and it was really late. I looked and, in the doorway of my room, I saw a figure of a tall, dark person standing there. Later, when I was about seven years old, two of my friends and I were playing in my friend’s living room. This time, all three of us saw the same dark figure walk (or float) across her living room. Ever since then I've been so curious to find out what it was.

Now, I'm a mother, and my youngest daughter, Sarah, experienced the same, dark stranger. She told me that one night a dark man came and took her somewhere. She said she couldn’t see his face, hands, or feet. She said he grabbed her, and they "like floated" away. She doesn’t remember where they went or anything that happened while they were away, but when they were done, the figure brought her back home to her bed. She explained the dark figure exactly as I remembered it! Could it be the same one?
