The Unseen Poltergeist
This will haunt me for the rest of my life. I know it will. I remember vividly, being sat on my sofa in the afternoon watching the TV. It was about 3 pm and the sun shone in through my windows. I switched to a channel called Living+ I think it was, and began to watch some ghost story. Some of it freaked me out, some of it made me laugh. It was when the TV switched off I stopped laughing.
I stood up and went to switch it back on again, conscious of my breathing, and my quickening heart. The tv stayed on this time and I relaxed, putting it down to a power cut.
Have you ever been slapped round the face? Because I was. Right there, on my own in the house, I was slapped around the face by something. I screamed in shock and pain, leaping up. I wasn't sure what to do. I tried to breathe slowly, but all I could feel was my sweaty palms and dry eyes. I was trying not to blink. That night, I simply called my Gran and stayed there, too spooked to stay on my own. The following week, no more violent moves were made on me, but lamps were blown, iPods broken, phone chargers ripped from the sockets. I didn't understand, whatever it was seemed to be obsessed with electricity. I went on for about 5 months before I decided I had to get out of there.
Moving house, I've never heard anything like it again. But it stays with me until this day.
