The Ones That Stayed Behind

One day at school, we decided to tell scary stories. We were going around laughing at each others’ stories, until we got to Monica's story. Hers was so real! When you read this, picture it in your head, and you will feel the sorrow.
Her Grandma was at the airport waiting for her husband to get off his plane. The spot where she was waiting made her feel sad. She started to see gray spots everywhere, and she drove away.
A day later, she discovered that a plane crashed there with no survivors. If you ask her now how she would describe the ghosts (or gray spots), she would simply say, "I guess they just wanted to stay behind."
