A Personal Experience By Breanna

It all happened near my friend Allison's house. We were riding bikes in the woods near this ditch with her sister and her friend. We decided to play hide and seek, so Allison and I decided to hide in the brush. Out of nowhere, we heard a man cursing. We looked around and saw nothing until we looked behind us. "Get out!" yelled a man dressed all in black.

We ran for our lives and looked everywhere for her sister and friend, but they were nowhere to be found. We ran to our bikes and rode as fast as we could. We looked behind us and the man was running after us! We thought we could escape by taking the shortcut. "Hurry, he’s catching up!" I screamed to Allison when I looked behind us. Finally, after what seemed like forever, we got to Allison's house. We checked behind us again, and he was gone.

It shook us up, and we have told nobody until now. I don't know about her, but I have nightmares to this day. Sometimes I wake up scared he’s about to catch us—I’m sure the man in black will haunt our lives forever.
