A Personal Experience By Nicholas

One summer, late at night, I was in the living room. I was the only one awake. It got cold, deathly cold. I saw a shadow, human-shaped, pass before me. Everyone was dead asleep. No one was where the shadow vanished. That part happened for months. During that time, I would feel things brush beside me. When it finally started to stop, I realized it was only the beginning.

Then, I had a weird dream, I do not know the beginning or middle, but I will never forget the end. I walked into my bedroom; something told me to look up. I did (yet I knew I shouldn't have). There was a dead girl stuck to the ceiling with a face of pure agony and pain. She was not nailed, taped, tied, or anything else. It was supernatural from a demon—or even worse. That dream repeated so many times that the emotional pain alone should kill any man.

To prove the dream was not just a dream, my brother told me he saw a man with a crimson bloodstained axe. He didn't go near that room for weeks (it was the bedroom, and he was too young to make up a prank like that but not too young to realize what he saw). Then one night I heard a deep, dark laugh. After that experience, I started to see the girl walk down the hallway. It's been about a year since that happened.

It seemed over at last, until the other night it grew stone cold. On the back of my neck was a warm breath that breathed heavily and moaned slightly right behind me. Then it happened again later that night. I do not think I will ever be left alone until I right the wrong so many people have done.
