A Personal Experience By Savannah and Delaney

One Saturday night, I was lying in my bunk bed on the top bunk. I woke up at exactly 11:27 PM. I looked up, and to my surprise, I saw a man with a black top hat and black holes where his eyes should be. He had a sinister look on his grim face. I blinked once and he remained where he stood. I blinked again and he was sitting on my window sill with his face toward mine. I blinked a third time and he was back by my bunk bed. The final time I blinked, he was walking down the hall, slowly fading away.

The next night at exactly 11:27 PM, I was driving to my house. I looked in my rear view mirror and saw the same mysterious man, his black top hat faced towards me. I started freaking out! I looked away for a split second and he was gone. I turned back to look at the road and saw him in my passenger’s seat! He was turning the radio station to a song I'll never forget, the song was a song was called “A Deeper Shade of Blue,” and it was from the 1920s. That night I didn't see him again. The next morning, I turned on the radio and again heard the song “A Deeper Shade of Blue.” I began to think my house was haunted.

A few months later I moved out. The spirit followed me to my new home, and he still haunts me today; in fact I think he knows I'm writing this. But the scariest moment I had with the man was when my hand felt like it was frozen, and when I looked down at my hand, it was covered in blood, and a hand appeared holding my hand. I looked next to me; the man was standing there his face toward mine.

He disappeared again that day, but ever since, I’ve lived in fear of when and where I’ll see him again—and what he’ll do this time.
