Scary Delilah
One day my best friend Rebekah, my sister Ella, and I were sitting in my room. Ella, you should know, is only four, but she is very smart. Well, as we were sitting there, Ella started talking about a girl named Delilah. Ella said many things that sort of creeped me and Rebekah out.
Ella told us she met a girl named Delilah and that they were best friends. Delilah was a ghost and Delilah's sister (who was 10) killed Delilah when Delilah was only 4. Delilah's sister was crazy and got mad at Delilah one day and that's how she ended up killing Delilah. Ella said Delilah lives in a blue tent just like the one we have in our backyard. Delilah is a mean ghost sometimes, Ella said. Ella would get hit and slapped, and there were marks on her all the time, but we didn't know who did it. That's all that Ella told us.
Before the day that Ella told us all of that, she was acting very weird and scary things were happening. Ella would run around the house screaming in the middle of the night and it looked like she was being chased. In our house, we have a few crosses, and one night after Ella got done screaming at something nobody could see, every single cross in our house was turned upside down. So, we had a priest bless the house, but it didn't help with anything. Also, in our attic we heard crawling noises. An exterminator had came to see if we had mice or bats, but there were no signs that any animals were ever up there.
The day that Ella told us about Delilah we were in a tent and we saw shadows and Ella heard scratching at the door and was telling it to go away. My parents have seen a little girl in a brown dress and so has my sister Paige. A lot of people are too scared to come to our house anymore so we are soon going to find someone who will make the ghost go away FOR GOOD, because if it’s already hitting Ella, what more could it do to us!
