Nanna Nora's Last Goodbye

Personal Experience by Chloe

I never really believed in ghosts until that night. My Nanna Nora had died the day before on Christmas Eve in 2003. She died of old age, and I never got to say goodbye. I was devastated but only five, so I was too young to understand.

That night, when I was told that my nanna had died, I saw a bright, blinding light at the end of my bed. When I looked up, I realized that it was my Nanna Nora. She told me that she loved me and that she would always be beside me every step of the way. She stroked my hand gently and kissed my cheek; then she was gone. I will never forget that night or that kiss. I told my parents, but they never believed me. I hope this story explains that not all ghosts are scary. Most are just loved ones who want to say goodbye or are watching over you.
