Ghost Stories

I am 26 yrs old, and I have had many experiences with the supernatural.

My first experience was when I was four years old and I was sleeping by my brother in our bedroom. For no apparent reason, I woke up and looked to the doorframe and there it was. I saw a solid eight or nine-foot tall shadow of a perfect humanoid shape, with space inside the area that could be called the eyes that seemed to glow with a red interior to a white outline. This thing was so scary I couldn't breathe or move, let alone scream, until I finally felt dizzy, gasped for air, and screamed. My parents rushed to the room and ran right through this thing. I continued to scream in horror as this thing just stood there staring at us and my parents couldn't see it. I slept in my parents’ room until we moved out of that house.

My second experience was at the age of six. My aunt was allegedly possessed by a "demon" and decided to sleep in my bedroom. She lay by me in bed and started crying. In my ignorance, I hugged her to comfort her, but I heard voices inside her ear screaming in pain. I pushed away scared, then noticed she had no eyes, and she said, “Don’t let go,” in a horrifying, angry way, so I hugged her again, but tried not to let her ear touch me. Then she went to sleep and I turned my back to her. I covered myself with the bed sheets completely, and then I felt a vibration. I peeked at the wall from under the sheets and saw that the bed was about two feet away from it. Then it just slid back towards the wall without making a sound. At this point, I couldn't take it anymore and screamed, and my parents came into the room and took me away. I never slept in that room again, and from that day forward I had to get my own room.

These are only a few of my frightening experiences—there are many more to come.
