Megan's Doll
My friend’s cousin went to the store to buy a brand new doll, but there were no dolls left in the store except for one doll that had no thumbs. My friend’s cousin didn't mind that the doll didn't have any thumbs. She liked the doll just because it was different.
When my friend’s cousin took the doll home, she cared for it, played with it and everything else you do with a doll. Later that night, the girl put the doll in the basement and went to bed. Some time during the night, the girl woke up from a bad dream. In her dream, the doll was walking up the basement stairs to her room singing, "I'm gonna chop Megan's thumbs off" over and over again. The girl went to wake up her parents, because she was so scared.
The girl and her parents went towards the basement to check on the doll, when they noticed that it was right outside her door. The girl’s parents told her that she must have just misplaced the doll and that it was her imagination playing tricks on her.
So, the girl went back to bed, but then she started to have the dream again – only this time, the doll was in her room singing the song. All of a sudden the girl's parents heard her scream. They rushed to the girl’s room to find that the girl’s thumbs had been chopped off, and the doll suddenly had thumbs!!
