John's Dead Man Talking
One day, an old lady got a call from her husband’s work saying that he had suffered a heart attack and was rushed to the hospital. She got to the hospital as quickly as possible and talked to her husband. She went home get his clothes, preparing for him to stay at the hospital. When she returned, a nurse said in a quiet voice, “Your husband has passed on”. The lady fainted and was set in the same hall as her husband. She woke up about 5:00 A.M. and saw a blurry outline of a man at the foot of her bed. The figure said, “Do not fear. I will call you.” The lady thought she was dreaming. She knew that even if she was awake, the dead couldn’t talk.
A few weeks later, in her home, her only child came over. He hugged his mother and then sat next to her to comfort her. She told him about the figure at the hospital. He didn’t believe the story. A few weeks later she got a phone call about midnight and heard a small voice but couldn’t make it out. She called the operator, and the operator could not track the call! Being a little freaked out, she called the number back. No answer. She went to visit her husband’s grave that night and saw a cell phone on his burial plot. She opened it up, and it was dialing her number!
