A Personal Experience By Gabie
November 18, 2008 My cousin Jen Jen, my step-cousin Alex, and I went to the park at around 5:00 PM. We were just playing volleyball when I saw one of my friends named Gunner. I had a ball, and Jen Jen and Alex each had a fence stick. We were playing around for a while, and soon it was around 7:30 PM, already about to be dark. That’s when Gunner said, "I better go, because this is around the time I start seeing dead people walk at the cemetery.” We freaked out and decided to go home. Around 10:00 PM, we were all outside at my dad’s house, which is scary because he lives right in front of the cemetery. We were just sitting on the bed of the truck when I took a glimpse at the cemetery and I saw people walking. I told Jen Jen and she called me a liar, and to stop talking about that. I just told her it was probably Gunner and I was just going to go say hi. So I went to the cemetery. I walked up to someone that had the exact shirt Gunner was wearing. I was walking up to him and he looked back. He started running. I walked up to him, but he kept running and looking back. When he looked back for the last time, I saw his shirt was torn, his jeans looked like they were covered in dirt, and he wasn't wearing any shoes. He finally stopped running, and then I saw he was bloody. He told me he had met a dead person without knowing, so I asked him if he was all right. He took off his shirt and he was totally skinned. He was dead. I ran home as fast as I could, and I never told anyone what I’d seen—but I never went near the cemetery again after dark. |
