A Personal Experience By Evelyn

My name is Evelyn. Once, when I was ten, my parents went to see a movie. It was late, so my brothers were already asleep. They were older than me, so I thought they'd stay up longer than me. I was getting ready for bed, when I heard a knock at the door. I thought my parents were home, so I went to go answer the door. I asked, “Who is it?” But no one answered. I thought I was hearing things. Then I lie down in my bed, and I was a little scared. I heard the knocking again, but this time, it was louder. I went to answer, but no one was there. I ran into my room and hid under my blanket. I heard the awful knocking again, but this time, it was at my window! I almost screamed. The knocking got louder and more awful. Then, I heard the car's horn. They were home! I then heard a high pitched scream by my window. My mom and dad went inside the house, and I never heard that awful knocking again.
