Charlene's Freshman Curiosity
This story happened at our school, and I was a college freshman. I live in the Philippines and go to school in one of the oldest schools in our city. There have been rumors about our science and technology building being haunted by ghosts, whenever the college students are not around.
We usually have our computer classes in that building. When our teacher was away on a trip, my best friend and I decided to go ghost hunting out of curiosity. She grabbed a video camera, while I got my cell phone camera out. There were at least five of us on the third floor. The college students were on their break, so no one was in the building except us.
My best friend Grace checked out the closed, boarded room where a reported ghostly doctor roamed around. I was minding my own business, taking pictures of the classrooms. I was not supposed to look at the camera while taking a picture, so I didn’t. The last room I took a picture of was the speech laboratory. I really wish I didn’t, because when I was finished, I looked at the screen and saw a headless guy sitting in one of the cubicles with a small girl in one of our uniforms staring directly at the camera. Her face was blurry, and she was bloody. I immediately screamed, and my cell phone froze.
My best friend went to see what was going on, but instead I was running down the stairs along with the others who had no clue what was going on. Once I calmed down, I showed them the picture, but I could not speak.
They decided to check out the room one more time, before we concluded what we saw. One of the boys trying to be brave decided he should open the door. But before he could touch the knob, the door flew open, and a rush of cold air came out. We all stood stiff on the ground. I began to panic, when I realized the air conditioning was never turned on, because no one used the room. When I told them that, they screamed and ran down the stairs, while I followed. That was not our last encounter with those so called ghosts, because we never learned our lesson.
