Catherine's Haunted House Next Door
One evening, about 10:30 p.m., me and my cousin, Eveline, were outside with our moms. We were joking around and were walking through every house close to mine. Suddenly, we saw a light turn on in a house that appeared to be abandoned. We thought it was just our imagination, but we wanted to check it out. When we got closer, we saw someone pass by a window from what appeared to be a bathroom on the second floor. Of course, we were scared, so we ran back to our moms and told them what happened. They didn’t believe us.
Since we were two very curious kids, we went back. We saw someone at that same window with something in their hand. Then, I saw them with a paper that said to come closer. So I told my cousin to get closer. Then, we saw something pass by again. The lights turned off for a few seconds, then back on. We ran again to tell our parents, but when they turned around the lights were off! So, of course, they didn’t believe us. As soon as they started talking again, we turned around to look at the house, and the lights were back on! Needless to say, we stayed close to our parents for the rest of the night.
