Brittany and her Guardian Angel
I live in a house that is surrounded by a HUGE field and woods. About 3 years ago my grandmother told me that about 150-200 years ago a female ancestor of ours hung herself in the woods behind our houses. Well...at the time I didn't believe in paranormal stuff so you better believe that all I did was roll my eyes and reply with "Yea...ok."
Well...I just moved back from Hawaii and I was down at my house one night around 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning and my cat, Phantom, just started meowing in away like I have never heard before. About 3 minutes later he started running around like he was chasing something but I looked and there was nothing, not even a bug. Finally he went over in the corner of my room and just sat there like somebody was there!! Around 4 o’clock I was about to go to sleep when I heard what sounded like footsteps but I didn’t pay any attention to it.
I later asked my mom how old the girl was that hung herself. She told me she was about 17 years old and that everybody finds it scary because I look so much like her!!! Later on, I went to the library and looked up very old news paper clippings. I found one dated from 1847 and it had a picture of a girl that looked JUST like me! Her name was Indigo. It said how they never found evidence that she hung herself and that they just labeled it as Suicide!
My grandmother told me that most likely Indigo was playing with Phantom and she was looking out for me. She said that Indigo didn’t want the same thing to happen to me. Ever since then I have believed in the Paranormal and respect them!
