Aurora's Terror In The Woods
This is a very true story that was told to me by my best friend’s uncle. This is what happened to his friends when they walked near the woods on the outskirts of Faversham in the UK.
A group of friends were rather bored and decided to go for a walk in the woods nearby. It was very dark, and they only had one torch between all three of them. They were wandering by the edge of the woods on the main road, and they pointed the torch into the woods where they thought they saw something run past the light. This unnerved them, but they kept on walking. That’s when the terror really began.
They heard a rustling sound as if someone was running in the fallen leaves. The noise stopped abruptly, and then they heard a loud, female scream. The group used the torch to see what was going on, and they saw a ghostly figure run across the road. The group flashed the torch at the figure. They stared in horror at the apparition. It appeared to have no head! Suddenly, it vanished into the woods on the other side of the road, but they could still hear the rustling of leaves. The group ran back to their house and tried to come to terms with what they had just seen.
A few weeks after the event, the group had told a lot of people about the ghost they had seen in the woods. Someone told them that a woman had run away from her husband a long time ago. He chased her and hit her with an axe. Her head was cut off, and ever since, she has been sighted in the woods. It is still not known where she is buried or even if she was buried at all, as no one knows who she or her husband was.
Part 2 will be coming soon. Me and a couple of friends will search these woods to see the terror for ourselves. We hope to be able get photos and video footage of the ghost.
