A Personal Experience By Denise

It all started in the third grade. I used to go to a program after school, and one afternoon around 4:00 PM I was in gym class. My friend Priscilla and I didn’t want to be in gym class because it was so boring, so we decided to go to the bathroom. On our way to the bathroom, we heard loud noises, like two girls were having a conversation. Priscilla and I wondered who was in the bathroom, but we decided to keep walking.

In front of the bathroom, the exit sign was flashing on and off. It creeped us out, so we decided to walk inside the bathroom. The first thing we did was look at the mirror and fix our hair. We heard footsteps and thought someone was on their way to the bathroom. Suddenly, we heard a voice say hi. Priscilla and I turned, around but no one was there. We got scared, but we didn’t pay much attention to it and kept fixing our hair. Once again, we heard a voice, but this time it went on:

“Hi! My name is Emily—and yours?”

We turned around and didn’t see anyone. Now we really got creeped out, so we just ran out of the bathroom screaming. When we got to the gym, we went to our friends Vena and Eliza.

“Guess what?” Priscilla said.

“What?” Vena said.

“We heard someone talk to us in the bathroom and when we turned around no one was there,” Priscilla said.

“Sure.” Eliza said.

As you can see, they didn’t believe us. Two days later, two other girls went to the bathroom and heard the girl’s voice. No one believed us, but my friend and I know we heard the voice of the girl, and even though know one believed us, we will always have this memory.
