A Message From YaYa
(93 votes)
A Personal Experience By Diane

The first time I ever got a message from a relative who was in spirit was several years ago. I had a greek Grandmother whom we called YaYa. She was one of my favorite people in the world. Calm, fun, loving generous with her affections and support. I was unable to make her services when she passed and I always regretted not going to say good-bye. But something happened that helped me understand it isn't ever good-bye, and our loved ones are always with us. I am not sure of the year, either 1991 or 92 sounds about right because it was shortly before I was pregnant with my youngest Zack that this experience occurred.

I had a statue that I loved, I bought it from Franklin Mint and the statue was of a Native American Medicine Man .The statue was my pride and joy and I was always so careful about where I put it and making sure it was out of harms way. With 3 small kids that limits the possibilities (grin). I had the statue on the top of a console unit that was behind the couch. One day I took a nap and had a dream of my Ya Ya suddenly telling me get up and move your statue, get up now. She said this several times and I got up, half asleep and went into the living room. I told hubby Ya Ya told me to move the statue, and I picked it up and took it back in my room. Not more then 5 minutes later the boys came in tossing a basketball back and forth. One of them missed the catch and there was a big crash. The basketball hit the console and knocked several things to the floor, things that were around the spot the statue would have been. It would have been hit and broken for sure had I not moved it. Hubby just shook his head amazed, I did too for that matter. Relatives do come back and can help, just like my YaYa did :)
